Salsa Tasting Competition

The North County Home, Garden & Gourmet Expo is happy to annouce its Spring 2012 Salsa Tasting Competition!  All are invited to submit an entry, and the top 8 will compete in the live competition & public tasting on February 25th.  The live competition is free for attendees to come and watch the competitiors in action!

HOW TO ENTER:

Competition Held Saturday February 25^th, 2012 from 10am-4pm

Entry Fee - $20

• Salsa Teams will be provided with an 8ft Table & Black Table Drape
• Salsa Teams will be required to sell tastes for $1.00
• The public and Salsa teams will use tickets for tastings — $1.00 = 1 ticket 
• There will be a Judge’s Choice Competition with a prize of $100 to 1^st place
• There will also be a People’s Choice Competition with a prize of $50 to 1^st place
• Tickets will be turned into a North County Home, Garden, & Gourmet Expo representative on Sunday by 4pm
• Teams will receive the cash back from the tastings Sunday September 25^th by 5pm - $1.00 per ticket turned in
• Each Team is responsible for providing a San Luis Obispo County Health Permit
• Teams are to prepare foods in the most sanitary way possible and are subject to   inspection by a San Luis Obispo County health inspector.
